So I almost talked myself out of doing this tour and that would have been a damn shame! Sunrise was just amazing even though it was cold. Totally underestimated how cold the top of Haleakalā is at 5AM, it's COLD! We did arrive about 50ish minutes before Sunrise and it was dark but it was cool wandering around the top of the volcano. Sunrise was awesome coming over the clouds. Now to the ride down the volcano. Common sense and experience riding a bike is a must. Also listening to the safety breif... Listen, understand how the brakes work and pay attention when you are cruising down and you should be fine! So worth the 3AM start. Everyone I had contact with on the Bike Maui team was super chill, helpful, & knowledgeable. My husband already wants to plan another ride down!

The whole experience with Bike Maui was incredibly well organized from start to finish. Our tour guide was really enthusiastic and shared a lot of information with us along the way. Really appreciated that they provided extra layers for us as it was pretty chilly before the sun came up! The team provided clear instructions about how to get back to home base and the bikes that were provided were in great shape with excellent breaks that made us feel really safe. It was an early morning but definitely worth it and would highly recommend to anyone interested!

This was an amazing experience and one my daughter and I will never forget! The guides are very friendly and safety oriented. Billy was a fantastic guide and gave us so much history about the island and area! We loved the experience and our thanks to Billy and all the staff ! Mahalo!!
