On a chilly December day we waited in the comfortable lobby of our hotel in front of the fire until we were picked up in a small cozy van by Alex G. I like it when itā€™s a small group, and that was exactly what we had; a friendly group of 4 couples. The others had been on the full day tour, so we came in 1/2 way through. I chose the 1/2 day because Viator had a schedule of what weā€™d do on the different tours, and I was interested in in the afternoon part. Alex was great. I really got a sense of how San Antonio has grown in recent years. We did a little of past San Antonio and a little of the present. We road some and got out some. I thought it was very well planned. When it was over it was just as easy for Alex to drop us at the restaurant we planned to go to for dinner, so he did. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The tour guide was very informative and we saw many of the sites around San Antonio. We have a much better insight into the history of the city after taking this tour.
