Half-Day American Revolution Tour in The Valley Forge

Overview
Leave the driving to us and let our local guide drive you in our comfortable tour van for a half-day excursion into The Countryside of Philadelphia to historic Valley Forge National Historical Park!

Once aboard our vehicle, you’ll be on your way to one of the most significant sites of the American Revolutionary War. Your guide will tell stories of the Continental Army preparing for war, stopping at the Muhlenberg Brigade Huts to give us an idea of conditions in the encampment.

Your visit to the park might include a stop at the Valley Forge Visitor Center, displaying historic objects and artifacts, as well as Washington’s Headquarters along the Schuylkill River. You’ll have time to enjoy sites of interest on foot, including the National Memorial Arch, a striking memorial to those who served, and also the gothic-style Washington Memorial Chapel.

Come and discover the incredible history captured in monuments scattered around Valley Forge’s picturesque surroundings.

My 14 y/o son and I took this tour while on our mother-son Philly trip for the weekend of the fourth. Tom was a fantastic tour guide who is knowledgeable and passionate about history. With a small group on this tour, he was able to customize portions based upon our interests. I highly recommend this tour.

This was such a great tour! Perfect combo of venturing outside Philly and hearing fascinating stories from a pivot moment in the US history. We enjoyed every minute with our guide Andy who is just an amazingly gifted story-teller. He quickly recognized that while I'm really into history, my travel companion was not so much and he balanced the stories so that it worked perfect for both of us. The driving was short and smooth and the van really comfy. When you're in the area, go for it. You'll have a great time!!
