What To Expect

Valley Forge National Historical Park

This 3,500-acre park was once the encampment site of the Continental Army during the winter of 1777-1778 and displays a collection of memorials and monuments commemorating the soldiers and generals during a significant turning point of the American Revolutionary War.

National Memorial Arch

This giant memorial stands to commemorate the arrival of Washington and the Continental Army at Valley Forge.

Washington Memorial Chapel

This active chapel is a Gothic Revival-style memorial dedicated to General George Washington.

Boathouse Row

This row of historic boathouses housing social and rowing clubs is an iconic Philadelphia image, with the houses at night reflecting in the waters of the Schuylkill River.

I had a beautiful day at Valley Forge PA it was worth the stay. Tom was a wonderful tour guide whose stories helped bring the history of Valley Forge alive. Learning about Von Steuben was enlightening. Definitely would recommend if you want an historical tour of revolutionary Pennsylvania.

I have been on a lot of driving tours throughout the world and this tour was by far the most outstanding. What made the tour so fascinating was that our guide, Tom was an amazing and talented storyteller that made the Valley Forge history come alive. Understanding more about the American Revolution renewed my pride in being an American.

Took a driving tour of Valley Forge with our guide Tom. He was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. I had such a wonderful experience with my family. It was fascinating visiting all of the historic sites and was a great way to spend my only day in Philadelphia. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone curious about American history.
