Half-Day American Revolution Tour in The Valley Forge

Overview
Leave the driving to us and let our local guide drive you in our comfortable tour van for a half-day excursion into The Countryside of Philadelphia to historic Valley Forge National Historical Park!

Once aboard our vehicle, you’ll be on your way to one of the most significant sites of the American Revolutionary War. Your guide will tell stories of the Continental Army preparing for war, stopping at the Muhlenberg Brigade Huts to give us an idea of conditions in the encampment.

Your visit to the park might include a stop at the Valley Forge Visitor Center, displaying historic objects and artifacts, as well as Washington’s Headquarters along the Schuylkill River. You’ll have time to enjoy sites of interest on foot, including the National Memorial Arch, a striking memorial to those who served, and also the gothic-style Washington Memorial Chapel.

Come and discover the incredible history captured in monuments scattered around Valley Forge’s picturesque surroundings.

Our guide, Tom, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the area (and pretty much all things Philly as a bonus). We appreciated that he could very much relate the history and areas of interest in a conversation - and not sound like a wrote script. Very enjoyable.

Thank you Keith! We pride ourselves on not scripting our tours. We don't want this to be a lecture, but more of a conversation. That little nuance makes all the difference in the world between a good experience and an unforgettable one!

Tom was our guide and he was perfection! Exactly what a guide should be. He answered every question I asked and had seemingly limitless knowledge of not only Valley Forge but also surrounding history.

Thank you Mary! That is a wonderful review, and encapsulates what Tom, and the rest of our guides, brings to the table each and every time they go out on tour.
