E-Bikes are Heavier! So riders must be comfortable riding a traditional bike

Best part of our trip lol. Such an easy experience, pick up your bikes, owner is super nice and sets you on your way - bike the path to Sand harbor which is GORGEOUS and the e-bikes just make your day that much more fun. These bad boys go up to 20mph but honestly just makes the hills easier and your ride that much faster. We took the trail twice

The check-in was a breeze! We signed a few documents, then Ted brought us our bikes and gave us a thorough explanation of how to use the bikes. These bikes are amazing. There is a pedal assist option which of course helps propel the bike as you ride it like normal. Then you have the throttle, which is pedal optional! You can just rotate the throttle and the bike will move forward for you. In just a couple minutes, we were on the road near the shoreline. After about 1.5 miles down and around, the East Shore Lake Tahoe trail entrance was there where there were BEAUTIFUL up close views of Lake Tahoe. So many stops to hop off and take scenic pictures. Bikes do include locks so you can also explore by foot/eat lunch/ jump in the lake! Will definitely come back again!

I cannot tell you how much we loved this bike ride. I was a little nervous, but the electric bikes were a breeze, the trail was easy to follow and plenty of space, and the views were spectacular. We used the bike locks that were provided to lock up at Sand Harbor beach and have a snack and walk around there for a bit. Would definitely do this again.
