Me and my friend booked this tour for the day after we arrived in an attempt to force off the jet lag from our UK flight. We knew very little about Dallas and thought this would be a good way to see the place. We weren’t wrong! Before I go any further I just wanted to say our tour guide Tom was amazing. It was like going to visit a friend in a city they’d moved to and they were showing you around. He even took the time out of his day to show us how to get to the next place we were planning on visiting, which he didn’t really have to do as the tour was over but he did it anyway, and we were very thankful! We showed up at the meeting point, and realised we were the only ones who had booked this specific tour that day. We thought that would mean it’d probably get cancelled, as that’s happened with different companies before, but our tour guide Tom was more than happy to take us on the tour. We started off at the John Neely Bryan Cabin, and were had a chat about the founding of Dallas. We then moved onto the JFK assassination portion of the tour which was amazing. It was really good to hear someone actually talk about the facts and base the conversation on that with conspiracy theories added for a bit of colour (rather than the other way round!). Tom really brought the whole thing to life and perspective in a way that few documentaries seem to. We then went through the Dallas Arts District and took in an art gallery and museum. A particular highlight of mine was Thanks Giving Square where we went into a spiral shaped inter-faith chapel. If we weren’t with Tom we’d never of found this as it looked closed from the outside. We rounded off the tour with The Majestic Theater and an art installation called The Eye. Now I can’t remember what point we did it so I’ll mention it here, but we were also taken on a little trip on the Trolley which was cool as we’d never quite been on a public transport system like it before. All in all, I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and if we find ourselves in a city this company operates in, I’ll 100% be using them again. A 4 hour walking tour could sound very long and daunting, but with the right tour guide and easy conversation it flew by!

The best experience was the 1hr walk going through history on JFK. Did not expect as much walking and the train was just to get from A to B.. Trolley was an experience in itself. Trolley was more of a get to know each other experience. I think brochure should say 80% of tour was a walking tour. It was more of getting acquainted with Dallas downtown. Don't get us wrong Tom was very personable and knew the history of JFK Assassination. Did not think entire tour was worth $71 a piece. We would have been happy with the JFK tour only. Thank you Dave and Nancy Robinson

We are happy that the guest enjoyed the JFK portion of the tour, but puzzled by the rest of the review. I was the guide on the tour and realized that one of the guests had trouble walking, so I extended the amount of trolley time to give them a chance to rest. We were on the trolley for over 30 minutes. I also dropped them off directly in front of their hotel at the end of the tour, which is not typical. We normally end where we started. We do recommend that travelers had a moderate fitness level to attend the tour.

Tom is a most interesting character with his opera singing and foreign accents’ imitation. He knows his history and explains it very well. He showed me all the highlights of downtown Dallas and it was all in all an entertaining experience.
