Haden C. led us down the lower Animas River on a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Not only was Haden an excellent and knowledgeable guide, he was also throughly entertaining!! If you want a fantastic ride down the Animas, request Haden C. You won’t regret it!!

We chose this rafting trip and had great fun overall. The Animas river was calm and had few level 2 and 3s. The instructor Dylan was quite knowledgeable and took time to explain various points of interest. I would recommend anyone new to rafting with Mild to Wild.

My 12 year old and I had a fantastic trip with Joe and Nancy. They were entertaining, friendly, took great care of us, and gave clear instructions that allowed everyone to feel involved and important. Gear distribution was fast and easy, transport efficient on school buses (though I wonder if the safety video in the office is just to occupy you while you wait for the departure because a much more comprehensive safety demo is done upon arrival on the river bank), and all felt safe and well maintained. The river itself is tame and mostly a float, there is a break along the way which felt unnecessary, but overall we had a great time. Thanks!!
