We had a great time rafting the lower Animas! Our tour hide, Hadley, provided us with tons of information and kept things fun and light! We would definitely go back.

We went our first ever river rafting experience while visiting from Anchorage Alaska in Durango. We were a little nervous but he kept our spirits afloat with positivity and can do attitude. Currently we believe John M is the best rafting guide at mild to wild if you catch our drift. We really enjoyed his rapid fire dad jokes and we were all swimming in laughter.

OMGosh where do I start?? We rafted last weekend (my first time!) and the weather could not have been more perfect! In fact if you weren't in the water you were hot!! I'm told the water was a little low but it was a perfect trip regardless! ALL of the guides we interacted with were fun and engaging but our guide, John M., was OUTSTANDING!!! He was funny, knowledgeable, very skilled, and took extreme care that we were safe and laughing the entire time!!! We will do this again someday and will for sure ask that we can be with John M. (Shaggy from Scobby-Doo-Voice only!!) He, without question, has the best voice and the happiest guy in the world!!! We had the most excellent day John, thank you!!
