Overview

This is a half day, 4 hour guided fishing trip in a custom drift boat on the Kenai River as well as the Kasilof River on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. These trips provide great opportunities to experience unparalleled fishing for Pacific Salmon and Trout on some of the most Pristine waterways in Alaska. We provide all necessary tackle and equipment as well as complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, water and soda.

What To Expect

Cooper Landing Fishing Guide

One of our Professional Fishing Guides will meet you at the pre-arranged meeting location for check-in and for the start of your orientation and fishing trip. This half day of fishing requires that you purchase a fishing license and bring warm layers of clothing. We will contact you upon your reservation to give you further details about your trip. Cooper Landing Fishing Guide is a top notch guiding service. Our guide, Dave, was incredibly knowledgeable, laid-back and a great fisherman. In addition to putting us on fish on the Kasilof, Dave went out of his way to help us with other aspects of our trip, such as fish processing, ocean charters, etc. I will without a doubt be using Cooper Landing Fishing Guide on my next trip to Alaska. We booked a 1/2 day excursion with Cooper Landing Fishing Guide with the goal of having my two sons 12 and 9 catch their first fish. Our guide, David, did not disappoint. His relaxed and gentle demeanor was just right to give the kids the coaching they need to learn the basic techniques and between the two of them caught 8 gorgeous Sockeye Salmon on the Kasilof river. David is a true pro blending exceptional interpersonal skills (read: awesome sense of humor) with a deep expertise about a wide range of fishing styles and a knowledge of when and where the fish are running. David put safety first and took all the pressure off of us when the occasional fish escaped our line, he's also awesome with a net. We highly recommend Cooper Landing Fishing Guide and look forward to our next trip up to the Kenai to spend time with David and his partner Jackie, who was also delightful and gave us a ride back to our RV at Quartz Creek.
