Half-Day Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Private Tour

Overview
We begin this wildlife photo tour by heading north along the western boundary of the National Elk Refuge to Grand Teton National Park. Here we will travel along the southern park roads watching for wildlife and stopping frequently for photo-ops. Wildlife we frequently encounter on this trip includes bison, elk, deer, moose, pronghorn, (aka antelope), fox, coyote, bear, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might choose to stop at the Jackson Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park.

The guides at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

The guide, Dave, was great! He got us in front of a ton of animals! And the scope lense trick with our cell phone cameras made the photos really amazing!

Jenni (Jenny?) was a wonderful guide. She had so much great insight into the wildlife at Teton NP and was able to quickly help us spot moose (3!) elk, mule deer, grouse, pronghorns, and a bear (that was over 1 mile away). She was fun and led a great tour.

We had a great time with Jocelyn as our tour guide. She was so knowledgeable about the area and so enthusiastic about her job. We saw pronghorn, many types of birds and a black bear eating huckleberries on the side of a mountain-one of the highlights of our trip! Jocelyn went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. I highly recommend this tour.
