What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

We kayaked with our group and then hiked through the muddy trails to a beautiful waterfall!! Our guide Zac was very knowledgeable and helpful during the tour.. he explained the nature we were exploring! Learned new things! Well worth it!!

We did the kayak and hike to the waterfall w rainbow kayak tours and it was awesome! Anya was our guide and she was great! Learned everyone’s name right away, was Full of great energy and super kind and helpful. She was super Aware of the groups needs and stayed behind to hold my hand a few times when some areas on the hike became a bit challenging for me. She was also very supportive of my 9 year old as she was kayaking and hiking offering words of encouragement and compliments! The hike was def challenging and super muddy, but it was beautiful and exciting and we got to the waterfall early enough that we were the only group there... so great photos! This tour kicked my butt in the best of ways! Can’t wait to bring more friends back next time!

This is a wonderful experience, the kayaking is relaxing, not a difficult paddle at all with beautiful and relaxing scenery. The hike has some challenges but is definitely worth it for the stunning waterfall experience at the end. Katy was a great guide.
