What a fun excursion! Our guide Anya was amazing. She knew so much about the all of the plants and wildlife we saw on the trip and made sure to watch out for everyone. My husband and I had only kayaked once before and were able to handle the river just fine. The hike is quite fun...you get to cross streams and go through the mud. The waterfall at the end was spectacular and it was great to have the opportunity to get in the water. We went early and the whole experience was very peaceful. On the way back we saw a lot more groups out on the water so I would reccommend going early if possible. You definitely want to do this if you are on Kauai!

What a fun and fabulous experience. Zach was a fabulous guide with a great deal of information on plant life, island history, in additional places to explore following our tour. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful even though there was less water this year than some previous- if you have time, it is absolutely worth the trip! He was such a great guide, not only did we have our packed lunch, but he brought and sliced fresh pineapple for the guestsšŸ‘

Had a great time, Zack was a great guide. Safety, history, and great knowledge was shared along the way. Beautiful waterfall and scenery. Bring good traction shoes and don't be afraid to get muddy. I actually enjoyed the rain, and we ended up with the falls to ourselves. Thank you Zack for the great memories and for helping take some great photos.
