What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

My husband and I did the kayak and hike to the waterfall. We had so much fun! Our guide, Zack was so patient and knowledgeable about the plants around the trail. He was a great teacher for the kayaks and even how to get through the mud. Although it rained through much of our tour, it turned out to be great because we were the only people at the falls and it was still warm enough to swim. We had the best time! Thanks again, Zack!! :)

This was a fantastic activity. Kayaking along the beautiful river, hiking (through the mud!) and even swimming in the pool at the foot of the falls. A wonderful, active way to spend 5 hours getting to experience Kauai intimately. We had an exceptional guide (Katie). The kayaking was leisurely and the hike was just right. Do not miss this opportunity!!

This was a great tour! Our tour guide Zach was really great and knowledgeable, the lunch was good and the swim in the waterfall was perfect! Definitely worth checking out!Loved the kayak and the hike, the weather stayed nice so we did not have to endure too muddy of a hike! Great overall!
