Had a wonderful time with Zack, who was a fantastic guide, really made the day extra enjoyable, even though some of the dad jokes were terrible šŸ¤™The hike was quite easy, not very easy and some care was needed crossing the rivers by the adult ladies in our party, but no one fell in šŸ˜€

We loved our kayak and hike with Rainbow Kayak Tours. Thomas was a great guide and prepared an amazing sandwich lunch spread with fruit from his mango tree as well as other fruit beautifully presented on large green leaves and decorated with flowers. We started with a quick orientation then a short van drive to the Wailua river where we took kayaks to where we then hiked across the river and over rocks and through vine/tree tunnels to a beautiful over 100 foot high waterfall. Lunch was delicious. Amazingly our teenage girls only left one insect/mosquito bite each, even though we are all usually eaten alive in warm humid climates. Our guide was very educational and friendly. Wearing hiking sandals like Tevas specific for hiking with neoprene on the inside of straps to prevent chaffing was key. We loved our kayaking/hiking tour and can't wait to go back to Kauai and take this tour again. We highly recommend Rainbow Kayak and Tours.

Zack was a great guide and was organized and thorough and ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trip. Lunch was provided at the waterfall and the sandwich was very fresh and we received chips and water as well. The kayaking was moderate and the views were beautiful. The hike was a lot of fun and was not too strenuous. Just need to be careful about the rocks and mud as they can be slippery. Be prepared to cross a few small streams but with the walking stick, stability was fine. Overall it was a fantastic tour for some exercise and fantastic scenery! Zack was the best!
