What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Fun adventure. Great paddle up and down river. Hike was amazing. But the waterfall was just beautiful. Our guide,Alan, did a great job of sharing his knowledge of the area. Overall a must do on the island. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Zach was a great tour guide. A full group was 12 people. 2 mile kayak up calm river each way and 1 mile hike each way. Good sandwich lunch with fresh pineapple and chips. Pretty scenery. Zach gave interesting info along the way. Waterfall is beautiful but there were a lot of people there from a steady stream of tour groups being led in. You can't really get there without being part of a paid group.

Excellent tour and guide. Highly recommended. Water area was a little crowded and felt like Disneyland but was beautiful all the same.
