What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

A must do while staying in Kauai. The waterfall is amazing!! Our guide Zach was very knowledgeable about the area and very patient with my daughter and I trying to maneuver the kayak down the river. We were beginners! ☺️ He even gave us recommendations of other things to do on the island during our stay. Will attempt to do next time when we return. Now we know how to kayak. Lol!

What a great day! Although we realized Kayaking wasn't really our thing, super enjoyed the whole day. Thomas was a great guide and the waterfall was beautiful. Great lunch - the pineapple was incredible - right at the base of the falls. Definitely worth doing!

We had an awesome time with Zach as our guide! Zach provided a ton of information about the plants and history along the trail. He also provided excellent recommendations for other activities on the island. We also appreciated that the tour provided us with large dry backpacks (which were needed as it was a rainy day!), water, and lunch (delicious sandwiches, chips, and fresh pineapple)!
