What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Great tour and our guide Zach was fantastic! The waterfall was beautiful and paddling on the river was awesome!

On my first trip to Hawaii, I imagined waterfalls everywhere and being able to access them and swim in the pools. I was disappointed to find that they weren’t as easy to reach as I had imagined. This trip fulfilled my dream! Gabriel was the perfect guide. He has the ideal personality for being a guide. He was patient and took good care of us, while also being funny and informative. Thanks so much Gabe for all you did for the three women from Michigan!

Tom was great!! Loved this tour. First time kayaking but it was doable. Hike isn’t too hard and the waterfall is beautiful! Be sure to bring water shoes.
