What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Beautiful, fun, athletic way view Kauai and immerse yourself in its beauty. Tour guide Zach was a definite highlight. Very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. We felt that we were in safe and capable hands the entire time. Complimented by a great lunch and fresh cut pineapple at the bottom of a waterfall. Experiences like this can’t be beat. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat

Sitting under the waterfall was exhilarating! Exploring nature on our hike & kayak was fascinating and educational thanks to our wonderful guide Ann.

The kayak and hike were beautiful but definitely for experienced hikers. The hike is more moderate than easy, the walk through the water is very slippery. There are no bathrooms during the 5 hour journey. Our guide was very nice. Would only recommend for older kids and adults that are in good shape. Also need good water hiking shoes.
