Wasn't sure exactly what we were getting ourselves into, but we ended up thoroughly loving our adventure. The 2.5 mile kayak voyage as not as hard as we thought it would be. Then we hiked through rivers and dense vegetation to end up at a beautiful waterfall. Swan under the waterfall and had a quick lunch before trekking back to the kayaks. What made the trip perfect was that we were the first group of the day, which meant we got to enjoy the waterfall before it became overrun with other tour groups. And to top it off, our tour guide, Thomas, really showed his teaching roots by pointing out different plants, rocks and birds. He really knew his stuff and shared it in a fun and interactive way. Highly recommend this trip and Rainbow Kayak Tours to anyone coming to Kauai.

This was the best trip! Our guide Christian was knowledgeable and gave us lots of info about the island, the local plants and history of the area while we paddled and hiked. The kayaking portion was beautiful, and the hike was manageable. I would definitely just wear an old pair of sneakers as even in water shoes my feet were sliding on the rocks. Choose the 7am tour so the falls are less crowded. Highly recommend to do this trip with Rainbow Tours.

Christian is the man, I'd do this again and happily with him as guide. Amazing information with the right amount of humor.
