What an amazing tour, Christian, our tour guide was exceptional, very entertaining, and lots of knowledge of the trails and history of the island. It is a must activity in Kauai. I highly recommend it.

Every part of my body was in pain! The kayak seats were worn out, the path was treacherous, many people fell. The were reeds that cut you, rocks that tripped you and thick sticky mud that you had the great pleasure to walk through. At the end of the trip I asked several people if they would do it again, all of them laughed and said "Hell NO"! But our Guide Katie was very good. To Viator I am also posting this review on Yelp!

We are sorry that you did enjoy our kayaking and hiking because of trail conditions that was caused by rainfall. We apologize that our seats did not meet standards, as they have been on back order and we have been working with what is available. We have been trying to order new equipment and kayaks since our reopening date which was back in May. It is unfortunate that everything is delayed. Once again we do sincerely apologize. We hope you have a great day!

My wife and I had an absolute blast on the kayak/hike excursion. Itā€™s hard not to when you get to casually kayak down a river and then walk an easy hike to a rewarding waterfall you can play in. What really made the trip a great time though was our guide, Jordan. He was not only helpful and friendly, but pointed out and explained so many interesting things along the path, whether it was the plants, tress, animals, or the history of the stone walkway you could see spot remnaents of, all of it explained in a way that tied it to the cultural history of the island. It was evident that he cared about preserving the integrity of the landscape, from how he made sure to stop and wait for the entire group before speaking to how he maneuvered out of his way to pick up trash left behind by other hiking groups. AND he picked an incredible pineapple that he cut up and served with out sandwich lunches, and not everyone can pick a good pineapple, so double thumbs up to the whole trip. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I learned on top of a beautiful and fun trip out on the water.
