What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Maverick was a great guide. Really enjoyed his commentary about the plants and history of the trail. When he offered fresh pineapple and sandwiches at the waterfall I was impressed. Was surprised that we walked through a river on the hike. Knew it would be wet. Glad I had shoes that could handle it.

The kayaking took some effort, the hike through the forest was easy, yet we felt like it was an adventure. Our guide Zach was very sociable and funny, which entertained the entire group. Fantastic waterfall at the end!

We had the best day! Mavrick was our guide and he rocked it!!!! My 8 year old and I joined this tour and it was one of our trip highlights! Such a lovely day. Small group size, yummy food, beautiful scenery we could not have asked for more. The guide was super knowledgeable about the area and was all about us having fun and enjoying the dat! I highly recommend this tour.
