What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Christian was an awesome guide and was so experienced. He even brought a pineapple he grew in his backyard that was delicious. Definitely thought it was cool he hiked barefoot.

One of our favorite parts of our trip was this experience! Our guide was kind, funny and helpful. My husband had never kayaked before and the guide was patient with us. The hike was beautiful and we were totally in our element! the waterfall designation was amazing!! Would do it all again in a heartbeat! Recommendation - wear hiking Sandals or wet shoes as you do walk through streams and mud. Your tennis shoes will get dirty! Worth it though ;)

Had such a great time on this trip! Our guide was Zack. He was so patient and informative, really great with the group! The hike to the waterfall can get trick at some points, make sure you wear the recommended shoes. The kayak ride was nice to get to the island , about 2 miles. The waterfall was beautiful my friends and I loved it. Definitely check out this tour when in kauai!
