We really enjoyed our adventure but we think the company needs to do better to either have more staff helpers or check that every person will be able to handle the slippery hiking. My hubby ended up working to assist a lady who needed help. We also recommend the company website add a video of the conditions and list walking poles in the list of what to bring.

Came here for my moms 80 th birthday. She was a real trooper and did the hike. Some places were difficult for her but I guide was awesome and helped her so she could enjoy the full tour.

Our guide, Christian, was fantastic. Had a ton of knowledge about Hawaii and Kauai, and even brought his ukulele to play music as we hiked!! Beautiful and easy river to Kayak on, and the hike to the waterfall was fairly easy, even us non-hikers. Getting to swim under the waterfall was amazing, but chilly! Gives you a nice rush of adrenaline. If you're looking for something to do for a few hours, do this. I would recommend doing the morning session. It's early, but worth it as there isn't anyone on the river going to the hiking portion.
