What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Booked this trip on my Kauai Vacation with my girlfriend. Did this trip on 9/20/2021 and Maverick was my tour guide. Maverick was a new employee but you would never guess if he didn’t tell me! He was just such a laid back cool guy who seemed to genuinely care about nature and getting to know the people on the tour. As far as the kayaking goes it was a little workout but totally fun! The hike to the falls is a little muddy and you walk through rivers so prepared to get wet! Kayaking is about 2 miles or so and the hike is about 1! Lunch consisted of a turkey or ham sandwich, fresh pineapple, and bags of trips! Overall experience was great and Maverick was a super awesome tour guide! Thanks for the experience!!
