Half Day "Last Call" Moab Raft Trip

Overview

Enjoy an afternoon in canyon country on the Colorado River with Moab's premier boutique adventure outfitter. This rafting trip covers 7 miles of river, including class I-III rapids (depending on seasonal flows) and plenty of flatter areas for taking a dip and some tranquil floating. We frequently spot wildlife along the way including bald eagles, peregrine falcons, great blue herons, desert bighorn sheep, mule deer, beavers and river otters. Trips are capped at 25 guests and transportation is conducted in air-conditioned vans. Wild West Voyages features top-notch pro guides and clean gear.

What To Expect

Colorado Riverway Recreation Area

Admire the golden light and ever-changing colors on the canyon walls along the Arches National Park boundary. End your day on a natural high of “river magic.” After check-in, your group will enjoy air-conditioned transportation along the scenic Highway 128 on the way to the river. An overall milder experience than our AM Raft Trip, this section provides calmer floats punctuated by occasional splash; the well-known Whites Rapid (Class II or III depending on the season) will cool you on a hot summer afternoon. Let us literally row you into the sunset as you relax and contemplate the journey. The perfect way to cap off your adventures for the day.

Fisher Towers

Enjoy photographic views of the stunning Fisher Towers, which preside over the valley where your river trip begins.

Moab

Meet us at our downtown Moab location, and enjoy historical information and local lore as we drive through the town on our way to the Colorado River.

We had a family member who has compromised health issues. When I shared these issues with the "intake" person (Jonah), he was attentive and thoughtful. The notes for the guide accurately described our situation and requests for special attention. Alison, our guide, and Mike, our driver were super attentive and accommodating. What a wonderful experience! Our tour guide and driver were so knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great trip down the river that included amazing scenery and a few rapids. We felt safe and attended to the entire time. This is a great company, and I can’t wait to do more adventures with them

Loved this trip!! The river guide was so knowledgeable. Kathryn also spent much time making sure we were all up to speed on the safety protocols. She was so entertaining as well. She told fun stories about local lore and educational information about the rivers ecosystem. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and so did my friends. Thank you WWV!!!
