What To Expect

Denver Union Station

Disconnect for a few hours in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Breathe in fresh mountain air and explore low trafficked areas with stunning views. Take your time, sit on a rock and look out into the vast mountain range in solitude. Enjoy driving along scenic mountain roads in an upscale vehicle with great views to soak up your surroundings. Guests get ample time at each sight and a local guide showing some of their favorite spots. Itinerary From Denver drive West to the Rocky Mountains. Explore a beautiful Canyon along a peaceful river and stop in places with panoramic views for miles. Stop at a local brewery on the way back to town.

Mount Evans Scenic Byway is a beautiful road close to Denver with great views of the Rocky Mountains. There are great spots along the way for nature walks and panoramic views for miles.

I was in Denver attending a conference and only had a little downtime for sightseeing. My tour guide Mel was able to take four hours and work it into three trips in one without rushing. She was amazing! She went at a pace the whole group could enjoy. We visited Red Rocks Amphitheater, Lair o’ the Bear Park and the quaint town of Evergreen. I would definitely recommend Mel and the Afternoon Rocky Mountain Escape!!

We had 14 in one van. It was Very uncomfortable. Suzie Q was very knowledgeable and personable. The sights were great and would have rated higher if the ride was more comfortable.

Hi Kristen— We always cap our tours at 13 people to give a little extra breathing room. Unfortunately, one of our guides had an emergency this day and we had to consolidate into fewer vehicles. We understand Susie asked for guests to let her know if they were uncomfortable so she rearrange folks in the van if need be. Don't be shy about talking with the guide about how to make your experience more enjoyable. We hope you'll give one of our tours another shot if you're back in Denver. —Brendon
