MOST AMAZING GUIDE! I was a little nervous starting the trip but my guide Reid was so knowledgeable and reassuring I have the best time! As we neared the end of the trip I got very cold and Reid had extra layers for me to put on so I could embrace all of the stunning scenery. I will 100% be back in June to see Reid again. When you plan your trip this is a company and a guide you must visit and recommend. Thank you so much Reid for a once in a lifetime trip (until next June 😉)

We went on the 3hr trip with our two teenage sons, 14 and 16. Everyone in my family is athletic but me so I was a bit nervous. The safety talk on the bus had me a little worried but they gave very clear instructions and what to expect if you ended up in the river. There was just the four of us with our guide but other boats had six. It doesn't matter either way. The guides instructions were very clear and if you did what they said then everything went smoothly! It wasn't as scary as I imagined it would be and our guide was a talented rower. They tell you on the bus that they go down this river all of the time, the only variable is their crew (us). My 14 year old did fall out near the very beginning because he didn't lock his feet in properly and was leaning back and went over. It wasn't in the rapids and it wasn't worrisome. His brother did the move they taught us and yanked his brother back in. The water wasn't too cold either. After that I really made sure to lock my feet on like they showed me. The views were fantastic and the rapids occurred in short sections so there were plenty of relaxing parts. I loved the class IV rapids though, it was so fun! Again, putting your faith in the guide and follow the directions is he way to go. We all wore water shoes, shorts and tshirts, which worked well. The photos they take are on their website so you can look at them when you get home if you want to order but not do it right after rafting. Unfortunately the closeup they took off our family wasn't online. Maybe we should have stopped by the order booth after rafting. They have a nice bar and restaurant there so if you wanted to do lunch before or after the trip it would work out well. There's also plenty of parking. We changed at our car but there was a small changing room and two stall bathroom right by equipment pick up. Overall it was a fantastic experience and very well run. Great trip to do with your teenagers. Shout out to our talented and lovely guide Lindsey!
