Made online kayaking reservations. We showed up the morning of to confirm this was the place to meet (was going to grab breakfast and come back. Anyway, they had our reservations but they weren’t doing the kayaking trip due to the river still being too high. They stated they called to tell me but there were no missed calls and no voicemails. When I asked why they didn’t e-mail me back telling kayaking was not an option, they said they are working on their reservations system. Well, we tried to switch the trip to rafting but couldn’t get on the river until much later. So, we requested a refund. Try harder…buyer beware of online reservations…bait and switch.

We do not allow kayaking on our river until the water level reaches 4 1/2 feet, and this year we are experiencing unusual levels of high water this time of year; this measure is in place because safety is our number one concern when taking customers down the river. We appreciate your feedback about the emails. Our team does their best to call our clients and then follow up with an email or text message. As for our rafting trips, we have a set limit we can only add to each launch and so we put you on the trip that had the next available seats.
