We were entertained and enlightened by our guide, Doc! His knowledge of the area, the waters, vegetation, geology and native American culture, also fire management, was truly impressive and enjoyable!

My husband and I took a wonderful scenic float with "Mountain Man" Bob as our guide. He was a great guide and told even better stories. He truly made the trip more enjoyable! Our bus tour guide Bob told some great stories as well and when he tells you the burrito at the Wandering Gringo is the size of a newborn...he's not lying.! Of note, you are expected to paddle on this float and some of it is hard work, especially if the river is flowing fast. I have health issues so thankfully we had enough people on the raft that I didn't have to paddle. I didn't see that mentioned anywhere in the description soni was a bit taken aback.
