My wife, son and I had the pleasure of going on the scenic float trip. It was relaxing, although at times you are expected to row. We really enjoyed when we stopped off to skip rocks across the river. We were also lucky enough to have Justin as our tour guide on his last day before his “retirement”. He definitely made the trip that much more enjoyable. If you are in the park, I highly recommend taking this float trip.

We took the half day scenic float on a beautiful day and had a great time. The put-in spot is a quick ride from West Glacier, and the staff is super organized and efficient even with a high volume of business. This trip is an excellent choice for first time rafters and those like me who might have mobility issues. There’s very little walking involved and no real rapids to speak of but the scenery is spectacular.
