This 3+ hour family-owned thoroughbred heritage horse farm tour offers a fun and informative tour that will provide you with a unique experience and take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky’s beautiful Bluegrass Horse Country. This is an interactive tour were you will get to touch and pet some horses.

You will visit a private farm that is exclusive to us and has had winners of both the Preakness and Belmont Stakes and will have two in the Derby this year!

Highlight of our KY trip! The farms were almost as beautiful as the horses themselves. The opportunity to pet and feed champion horses was incredible and unexpected. Our guide, John, was to knowledgable and fun.

Picked us up at the front entry of our hotel, Embassy Suites. Comfortable mini-bus tour van to take you to the horse farms. We discovered that our tour had access to a few private well known farms that other tours don't. This was a huge surprise! Spent time loving on colts that were only weeks old along with their mommas. We just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our tour and tour guide. Be sure to tip the tour guide if you enjoy them.

My wife and I fully expected the Thoroughbred Heritage Horse Tour to be an enjoyable and interesting experience but because of our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide Daniel (who fully engages you on the tour), the several beautiful farms we visited (plus a tour of Keeneland Race track), and the magnificent horses we encountered, the tour turned out to be so much more. Daniel is welcoming, witty, an excellent vocalist (sang an operatic piece) and these skills plus his almost encyclopedic knowledge of the Sport of Kings make his tour truly outstanding. The three plus hours passed too quickly and we were disappointed the tour had to end. It's truly amazing that Daniel has command of so many horse racing facts including the horses names, their dames and sires, their performance records, their owners and trainers, their stud fees, which jockeys rode which horses and on and on. This was our first visit to Lexington and this tour plus other attractions in the area will have us returning.
