This 3+ hour family-owned thoroughbred heritage horse farm tour offers a fun and informative tour that will provide you with a unique experience and take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky’s beautiful Bluegrass Horse Country. This is an interactive tour were you will get to touch and pet some horses.

You will visit a private farm that is exclusive to us and has had winners of both the Preakness and Belmont Stakes and will have two in the Derby this year!

We took tour 2 days after Derby. Vicky was our guide. We know little about horses. She was very knowledgeable. She has her own horses and has been working with them for years. Our van was a little tired inside, but it got us around. Vicky told us a lot of history on the different horse farms. We drove through one farm stopped briefly to look and pet some horses. Went to Keeneland race track, and stopped at one more horse farm. We got to walk around there, look in stalls at horses. We got to see the activities that were going on around farm.

This tour was a great experience. Daniel was our tour guide and he was INCREDIBLE! He made us feel welcome from the time we stepped on the van until the end of the tour. In addition to being very down to earth with silly jokes and great singing talent, he is amazingly knowledgeable about the area, the horses and the farms. We took this tour on Derby Day and are very grateful for the privilege of spending time with Daniel in Lexington.

We can't say enough about this incredible tour. The 3 hours go by before you know it. Our guide Daniel was outstanding. His knowledge of the area, horses, and horse farms makes one believe he has a photographic mind. Plus, he is a wonderful singer. On a side note, we tried to book this tour through another company but they were booked full up. We were referred to Thorobughbred Heritage Tours by the other company. We can't say enough about how these companies work together to satisfy their customers needs. The southern hospitality we have experienced in Lexington has been awesome.
