This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

AVA Colorado Rafting

When you arrive to our Kremmling Outpost, you will check-in with our front desk staff, gear up, meet your guide, then load up on our vehicle to shuttle over to the trip start location.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We had an awesome time and our kids absolutely loved it! Our guide Christian was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable about both rafting and the history of the land and made sure we all enjoyed our trip!! I would absolutely recommend this trip and Christian!

Good for families with kids 9 and younger. Guides are knowledgeable, flexible, responsive to guests needs. David, our particular guide, really paid special attention to the kids to ensure they had a great, safe experience.
