This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

What To Expect

AVA Colorado Rafting

When you arrive to our Kremmling Outpost, you will check-in with our front desk staff, gear up, meet your guide, then load up on our vehicle to shuttle over to the trip start location.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

I would recommend this for anyone visiting the area. All staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide Dylan had a great sense of humor and made everyone feel comfortable. The rafting was fun and the cliff jump was an unexpected treat! I would do this again if I ever visit the area again. Thank you all for a great day!

We loved our experience on this trip! We had an 8 year old and a 5 year old with us and they had so much fun. Our guide (Mouse) was phenomenal and made the experience as enjoyable as possible. The whole team was super nice and extremely professional. Can't recommend enough! We'll be back next year for the full day trip!

Eric was a very nice guide. The length of the trip was sufficient given the heat of summer. Views were spectacular from the raft. All age groups seemed to have fun.
