This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

We did the half day Colorado River float tour for my birthday and my sons birthday. I had always wanted to go white water rafting. Our family had a great time! All of the guides were really cool. Nelson was our personal guide. He was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and gave us a little history behind certain towns, people, etc. The rapids were not scary at all. My son was a little nervous at first but he loved it. We have decided we would definitely go back again but rapids a little more exciting than this float tour. We will definitely be back!

Great memories were made on our Colorado River adventure. Our guide Jeremy was very knowledgeable, he and Eric both made us feel comfortable by expelling any fears we may have had. The six people in my party agreed this was the highlight of our trip. What a beautiful way to experience some of our country’s natural wonders.
