We had an AMAZING time on this whale watching tour with Isaiah our expert and I think our skipper was Danny. We were able to see Killer Whales, Dolphins, Blue Sharks and Humpback Whales - all whilst enjoying just enough commentary from Isaiah our marine biologist who knew exactly what information we’ll enjoy and when to leave us to enjoy. Oh - and he gave us just the right amount of science 😉 Isaiah was also brilliant with my 11 year old son who aspires to be a marine biologist and got a little time with him looking at his book of info and what to study at school. Thank you to Discovery for this awesome tour. Literally the highlight of our trip.

We came to Monterey to see some whales and this trip really delivered. Our skipper Danny and Marine biologist Isaiah took us out this morning, we saw Risso’s dolphins, Humpback Whales and best of all a pod of Orcas. The boat was a perfect size (not as big and crowded as others we saw) so we could get a perfect view of the whales. Isaiah was really enthusiastic and spent time talking everyone through the trip and answering our questions. I would definitely recommend Discovery and the crew of Danny and Isaiah to anyone thinking of booking a whale watching trip from Monterey.

Lovely crew, commentary and genuine interest in you getting to see the whales. I would probably take sea sickness meds even if you don't usually get sick. Rather small boat for the open water.
