Fantastic whale watching trip. Welcomed aboard by Captain Jackson and Andrew who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and fun. It was a calm sunny morning and there was plenty of room on the boat for everyone to have a good view. It really wasn’t long before we saw our first humpback whale followed by many more all feeding on anchovies alongside sea lions, it was truly incredible. An experience my family and I will remember forever. Big thank you to Captain Jackson and Andrew for such a fabulous experience and moving the boat to new sites ensuring we saw so much including lots of humpbacks whales, Risso dolphins and of course sea lions. Really was the highlight of our West Coast holiday road trip.

What a fantastic day. Even though the sea mist was in that day we loved our morning trip. The highlight was when we saw a feeding frenzy of hump back whales. (Not a good day to be an anchovy!) The crew were friendly and informative. Our teens were utterly transfixed. We would recommend.

We have travelled around California for a month and we went on this trip on our last day - it was by far the best thing we have done. Isaiah was incredibly passionate and explained the marine biology of the environment and animals. We were lucky enough to see four humpback whales and stayed with them for ages observing them in their habitat. It was a huge privilege to see them and an experience I will never forget. I can’t recommend Discovery Whale Watching highly enough. Their respect for the environment and the animals was wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful last day of our holiday!
