We saw more than a dozen humpback whales on our trip with Discovery Whale Watch, as well as large numbers of common Dolphins, which was fantastic. Our guide Isaiah and colleague Andrew were very knowledgeable and entertaining as well. Unfortunately though, I succumbed to the seasickness - fine when the boat was underway; but once we stopped to observe the whales and 'wallowed around' in the swell, I was feeding the fishes! I don't normally suffer with seasickness; so my advice would be do the trip - you'll love it - but either take your own sea-sickness meds or else take the ones they offer before you board - you'll regret it if you don't - a good third of us on our trip were ill! Oh, and watch out for the wet feet - when the boat rolls, water washes over the deck!
