Great day on the water with Andrew and Captain Danny. Saw lots of dolphins and several humpback whales. Appreciated learning about the wildlife while seeing them, and the crewā€™s thoughtful planning of the trip to give us the best experience. One tip - I donā€™t usually get seasick, but definitely felt a bit nauseous by the end of the trip. Next time I go i will definitely take some I motion sickness medicine before getting on the water! They sell it in the tour shop.

Guides were very nice and very knowledgeable-Real marine biologist, not just deck hands! They live these animals and it shows. The boat was full but not overcrowded. We all got to see several whales and lots of dolphins. When we arrive there was another company with a 9am boat and a huge long line. We were so relieved to find our company had an inside Location and we walked right up to desk! I would recommend them and do it again!

They did not warn us that the boat was so small and crowded. We did see the whales but they did not come close to the boat. The operators of the boat just walked around and talked to passengers and did not explain the habitat. Finally the waves were huge and they should not have held the tour, I got sea sick from the turbulence. Even if I took the motion sickness pills they sold

Hello, We are so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience. Sometimes we are met with bouncy sea conditions in Monterey Bay as we are exposed to the open ocean & our crew does the best of their ability to warn people ahead of time about conditions so that they may take motion sickness med properly if they are needed. Unfortunately we have no control over how close to the boat the whales come as they are wild animals. We get in the best position possible to view them and then from there it is up to them since the last thing we want to do is to disturb wild animals in their natural habitat. Our boats are smaller for a more intimate experience and allows for plenty of time for Naturalist/guests to interact and get all of their questions answered. Please contact us at [email protected] so that we may further discuss your trip.
