Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more additional seat must be purchased at time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.
Please contact Air Maui directly for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
No bags allowed on board. This includes purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.

Dylan was our pilot and he was great! There was adverse weather over Haleakala so we couldn’t go there, we went over Molokai instead. They gave us the option to do the alternate route or refund / select a different day, so we just went the alternate route. Dylan gave us lots of information during the tour which was informative and interesting. I enjoyed the music he selected as well! Everyone here was super nice and they are obviously very concerned for everyone’s safety. Highly recommend!

If visiting Maui, this is a must! You’ll be greeted warmly by a wonderful crew, followed by a brief video and then off to see the most spectacular views of Maui! Our pilot Dylan, was engaging, informative and professional. We landed with a family portrait waiting for us to view and video to be added, if wanted, which we gladly purchased to showcase at home. Everyone there was absolutely amazing and 5 stars wasn’t enough, for an unforgettable experience! Mahalo!

Due to low clouds, flight to Haleakala and Hana was revised to see NE Maui and NE Shore of Molokai; Disappointing but not the fault of Air Maui. Back seat placement limited views out the side windows but Cameron, our pilot was friendly, informative and knew and appreciated the Hawaiian islands.
