What To Expect

Hana Highway - Road to Hana

As you fly along Maui’s North Coast, you'll enjoy views of breathtaking sea cliffs and cascading waterfalls on your 40-minute round-trip helicopter flight. Your pilot will point out popular points of interest from above such as Paia, Hookipa, Haiku and the famous surf destination – JAWS. You'll also see the 'Road to Hana' and the iconic Jurassic Rock before your exclusive landing destination deep in the Hawaiian rainforest.

Wailua Valley State Wayside Park

Your helicopter will descend and land for 30-minutes of exploration on a former taro plantation in the Wailua Valley. Traverse the lush vegetation including banana, coconut and wild flowers and indulge in scenic panoramic views as you are surrounded by canyons and waterfalls. Your pilot will provide extensive knowledge of the land which very few people have ever stepped foot on. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

This was the highlight of my vacation and worth every penny!!! Family of three one teen. the trip was a little over 75 minutes which includes a 25/30 minute stop/landing. Maverik was professional and the ride overall was smooth. Look forward to coming back!!

Brad (our pilot) was exceptional. Landed in the Hana rainforest and flew us up to see the crater. The Jurassic Rock entry is really amazing as were the numerous waterfalls he took us by. Only reason this tour doesn't get five stars is that the communication on departure location and parking was not good. The voucher gives you the airport as a departure point but it is actually at the heliport which is located off-site. Parking is paid through an electronic machine that was less than user friendly.

My wife and I went on this trip with a touchdown in the rain forest. It was spectacular. Jake was our pilot and he was awesome. We had confidence in his abilities and he put our minds at ease right away. He was friendly, informative and helpful. We touched down in the rain forest and met "naturalist", Edwin who was colorful and informative. We would highly recommend this trip. It is not cheap, but well worth the money. Go for it.
