I took the tour today. A fascinating insight into a self contained society that could easily have existed in the 1800s. Frida has an insight uniquely unique to this community and I highly recommend this tour. She was engaging and willing to address the many questions asked.

I found traveling to Williamsburg well worth the time and the tour a real value. Frieda, having been "one of them", gave us a tour most educational, informative, with visits to several bakeries and an eatery. Never once were we subjugated to visiting a shop with individuals "hawking" their wares. Frieda freely and astutely answered any questions. I would highly recommend one of Frieda's tours into this fascinating world of Hasidim.

Stepping inside Hasidic Brooklyn with Frieda is an experience you don’t want to miss. Her perspective is that of both insider and outsider, she grew up in the community and left as a young mother. With this double perspective she is an insightful and compelling translator of Hasidic life in Williamsburg to the uninitiated. She is open about her own life, which is a fascinating story about having the courage to be your own true self. All this she intersperses with fresh baked goods. Don’t miss it.
