Hasidic Williamsburg Walking Tour in New York City

Overview
This tour is a little-known gem in Hasidic Williamsburg, led by Frieda Vizel, who was raised in the Satmar Hasidic Jewish sect. The tour aims to bring you to a deeper, humanizing understanding of Haisidic life. Groups are small so visitors can get to know each other, and the tour price includes food stops and audio equipment!

This is my 3rd Hasidic Tour in Brooklyn, and this one is the best! Frieda provides an insider’s perspective that is respectful as well as knowledgeable. I learned so much from her and was truly inspired by her own personal story. Highly recommend

My goal for this tour was to learn more about the Hasidic community. Freida has a warm soul with a wealth of knowledge as a former member. The audio equipment worked great, we got to sample the most delicious pastries, we received candy and a Kosher meal at the end. I learned a lot of eye-opening information. I highly recommend this tour! I look forward to taking her other tours when I return to NY. Lastly, Frieda allowed me to tip her without her stating she accepts gratuities as most tour operators do at the end of the tour. SHKOYACH Freida!!!

Had a slight booking issue, and she was more than accomodating from the start and made room for (1) more! I sent an email asking where the tour ends, and I got an immediate reply. She is easily accessible should there be any questions. I didn't know exactly what to expect. My friends and I are of Jewish decent, so are familiar with some of the customs, but this tour gave a personal view of not only how Frieda lived, but what she witnesses as trends in the community today by her years of touring in this community. Frieda is informative. She doesn't give personal judgement, just gives you insight to the culture. I was surprised about the stops for treats along the way. Let's just say she is generous, as I never expected anything besides the tour. I don't think there was an excessive amount of walking, and there were a few times when you got to sit. Very leisurely, and timed perfect. My two friends and I were very happy with everything on this tour. Thank-you Frieda!
