We can’t praise this wonderful walking tour enough or the vivacious, knowledgable and courageous Frieda who guided us through this unique neighbourhood. Frieda is a great storyteller and kept us enthralled with her tales and anecdotes of sites and residents of this tightly knit community in which she was raised and left . We were inspired by the fact that Frieda did not run down any of the members or the rigid lifestyle but rather let us form our own impressions. A highlight was sampling some iconic and symbolic Jewish foods and delicacies which were delicious! Highly recommended!

Frieda guided us through this very closed neighbourhood in a way that was both honest and respectful. It has given me insights into a culture that I knew very little about before.
