A group of girlfriends recently visited Brooklyn and were curious to learn more about the Hasidic community. So we took this tour which was truly the highlight of our trip. We were blown away by Frieda’s candid yet respectful description of life as a member of the religious community and life after leaving the community. We were completely captivated by Frieda’s story telling, intrigued by the community’s commitment to preserve its ancient way of life, and fascinated by the proximity of this microcosm of ultra-conservative life against hip, modern Brooklyn. This is a very unique and memorable tour, given by a talented, warm, and lovely woman - one not to be missed.

We were a group of 15 friends who had a private tour led by Freida. It was truly a privilege to have had the time with her. She was super organized and responsive in the planning of the tour and its execution. Her system with earphones works perfectly. However, the greatest part of the entire experience was Freida herself. She was very open, genuine, honest and respectful as she shared her insights into a community that is not easy to get to know. None of us wanted the tour to end and I am already trying to figure out when I can go back to Brooklyn to take a tour with her again. It was excellent!!

Well not in this instance. I could have stayed all day. I was hanging on Frieda's every word. She is knowledgable, warm, forthcoming, honest, open, lovely, respectful of both the community she left and the one that she's finding her way in, etc. etc. I can't recommend her enough. We were a group of 15 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. You will walk away with a much better understanding than you went in with and you will leave with wanting more. Go tour with Frieda .... you won't regret it.
