Frieda was an excellent tour guide, giving us first hand insight into the fascinating community of Hasidic Williamsburg. She was open to questions and shared her experiences which made the tour come to life. Although we weren’t expecting this to be a food tour, we had tasty treats and a meal at the end ~ all really delicious. I highly recommend this tour, even if you don’t think you are curious about this intriguing culture. You won’t be disappointed.

This tour of the Hasidic neighborhood in Williamsburg was rich with cultural insights and social and historical observations. But more important, Frieda’s sense of humanity and her openness to all questions made the tour a teaching moment as well. We came away with a far greater understanding of a community that can sometimes be both ridiculed and vilified out of ignorance. Take this tour and you will be ignorant no more. We recommend it highly! —Jeff and Susan, San Francisco
