Per state of Texas regulations, masks are not required for outside activities. The vast majority of our tour is outside, however masks are encouraged for all customers. Masks are required when entering any historic buildings including the Driskill hotel.

So glad you loved your tour! Yes, Walking Tours of Austin is the only company in town with exclusive access to the Speakeasy Tavern, formerly the southwestern telephone and telegraph company. It burned in 1916 and as a result has some amazing ghost stories! Also, I hope you enjoyed the interior of the Driskill Hotel, what a beautiful and (haunted) Austin landmark:)! Nice 90 minutes walking tour. The price is really ok. We were a group of 10 plus guide William and had much fun. He showed us some old photos, comparing street views from the 19th century to now. Had some spooky stories to tell, and some funny stories. I love the shootout in the Driskell, hitting everything but each other :-D It is a nice way to explore more about a city than when you just visit and go shopping and maybe read the Wikipedia article.

We were looking for something other than bar hopping in downtown Austin and came across this tour. It was the night before Halloween, so it was perfect! Lots of great stories, pictures etc. had a great time.
