I don't know my guide's real name because he stayed in character as Samuel Chase for pretty much the entire tour, but he is funny, engaging, and extremely good at this. I agree with the review that say the tour isn't frightening; it's not like an outdoor haunted house or something. You mostly just listen, banter, and then walk to the next location. But it's very fun and very informative. Many of the stories are wild (the one about the $$$ stashed in the Library of Congress was my favorite) and some are pretty eerie. Small children might get bored but anyone else who has an interest in DC/US government history should have a great time. Thanks, Sam!

The tour was fun and the guide was a great storyteller. I went with my 13 year old and we had a very fun time!

I selected this ghost tour for my boyfriend and I because he was interested in hearing historical tales and I love ghost stories. I wasn't disappointed, since we got both. Our tour guide Samuel Chase, seemed very knowledgeable, knew how to tell a good story and enjoyed himself. Definitely wear lots of warm clothes if you go this time of year, since the tour is an hour and a half.
