Booking through Trip Advisor was a huge mistake. It was thunder and lightning so I called to make sure the tour had been cancelled and the guy at Scary DC told me it hadn't been cancelled but it was no problem to refund our money. When he went to do that he saw I had booked through Trip Advisor and was unable to issue the refund. He told me to call them, so I did, but Trip Advisor then told me I had to call Scary DC...Uggh. Honestly, I had originally called just to find out if the tour was still on. After talking to these two guys I want to pull my hair out! Although walking around in lightning with an umbrella isn't a great idea. Who knows how many calls it will take to get my refund.

This was a very enjoyable tour. It gives you the opportunity to see Capitol Hill at night, when it isn't overrun with people. Our guide Paul kept it fun, light-hearted, and interesting.
